These are a set of plains that are littered with rocks that jut up from the tall grass. You can sometimes find humans here, but not often. A great place for hunting.

The Stone Mountain Falls is connected to the same river as the one that flows into the Cavern Oasis. This is above ground, however, and a very good place for fish (especially salmon!) The rocks poke up out of the water in many places, so it's a great place for apprentice training in most aspects of balance and agility.

Water from the Leaping Waves river tumbles down steadily from the river above, and down into a sandy oasis cave below. The water is cold and soothing, through very shallow. It is good only for drinking, there is no fish here. Though cubs love to paddle in the water here.

The dens of Starless Night lions are caves that are carved into the rockside. They are usually at a downward slope and open up into a cavern below. Not much light filters in through here, but there is enough light to see where you're going.

The Decival (pronounced deh-see-val) Cavern is the place where the leader of the pride, Chiaroscuro, addresses the pride for announcements and ceremonies. He calls the pride together by roaring, and the noise echos through the cave very easily. The moon filters through here and gives the cave an eerie red light.

Shade Paint Mountain is where you can often find the apprentices. There is some holes in the the side, filled with smoke. The apprentices are made to stay here, because The Pride of Moving Clouds belives that apprentices should'nt have it easy. Not much prey can be found here.

The Fried Grass is the perfect spot for a Tranier to train Apprentices. It is an open spot to learn to fly well, with a little bit of woods behind to learn how to hunt.

This tree lies near the border to the Pride of Leaping Waves. This is often called the Shaman Tree. The Shaman and its helpers come here. The tree is ideal to lie in, and has a hollowed inside where the Shaman keeps supplies. There are many carvings in the tree from old shamans with advice to give.

The Warming Hill is by far a favorite place for cubs. The small hill has no trees, but many flowers. The flowers smell good, and create a delightful place for them to warm the coldness out.

The highest moutain known resides near here. Many leaders assign lions to come here and keep watch in time of war. The Pride often comes on hot days to get a drink and perhaps catch a few fish.(Which are extremely hard to catch!) The watering hole is not used any more, because very long ago it was poisened and most are afraid the poisen is still there.

Hidden Protection is where The Pride of Moving Clouds retreat to when they are dangered. They have many caves here, and are hard to find. Though they are not used to living in caves they could. They have one small watering hole in there.

This is where young cubs come with their mothers to have a blast! literally. As they ride the waterfall, they are hit with a blast of water that carries them down teh waterfall at 30 miles per hour! It is well guarded becuase of teh dense tree tops.

This is the river that flows into the ocean. It is cold, cool, and always running. There are many, many fish here for a lion to catch. There's a few rocks for lion cubs to jump on in play. Mosquitos love it here, though. Watch out for the West Nile virus!

This is where the Leaping Waves lions make their homes. These caves appear naturally before the rock wall, and they are quite roomy. Even though they get rather damp sometimes, it's still quite comfortable.

Salty spray and warm sun. The sea is not as clear as it should be, it is more of a dark turqoise then the clear blue that it should be. It is called the Blackened Sea for this very reason, as it's color is tainted. The reason for this is unknown, but it is a strange phenomenon that nobody has ever been able to explain.

The Blackened Shoreline is littered with rocks and deceased fish. Be sure to take care while walking- some of the rocks are sharp. The sand is soft and wet here, and it's quite fun to play in if you're a cub.

The Old Place was rumured to be made by the mythtical humans. Everyone knows they don't exist though. This is a sacred place. Leaders and few others often come to talk with the Pride of Moonlit Skies. The water is fresh and crisp.

The green plaugue was once a beautiful green meadow with flowers. Then a war swept the field. Many lions died, and after that day it as never teh same. Moss and dead grass sprung from everywhere and the old died. Stones arose from the Earth and they say the stones are bodies of dead lions. Anyone who ventures here gets sick soon after. This sickness is called the green plaugue. The only way to cure it is to kill a lion of another tribe in sacrifice.
